You will be expected to deliver exceptional service to both Club Members and visitors alike. This is an excellent opportunity to increase your experience within a quality establishment and continue to maintain the reputation for outstanding Food and Beverage and service. The role will include shift work including early mornings, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

THE PERSON:

We are looking for talented, enthusiastic, and hardworking people to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, with some experience working in a similar role, preferably, within the leisure or hospitality industry (but this is not essential).

The role is very hands on, so a can do, and proactive approach is essential and forms part of our ‘One Team’ ethos.

MAIN DUTIES:

As part of the Food & Beverage team you will

  • be responsible for the day to day running of service within the guidelines set by management and the departments standard operating procedures (SOPS) e.g., setting up the bar/restaurant, health and safety measures, taking food and drink orders from Members accurately.
  • have the ability to work under pressure, be well organised and have the ability to multi-task.
  • be self-motivated and have the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance of all equipment used.
  • be aware of the need to observe Health and Safety regulations and advise management of any irregularities.
  • complete any other reasonable task as requested.
  • be confident with good listening skills.

A good command of the English language is key to the role as you will be the main point of contact between the Member and the kitchen.

CLUB BENEFITS:

As well as the traditional benefits such as our pension scheme, life assurance and 28 days holiday each year (pro rata), you will enjoy extra perks when you join the team at Phyllis Court.
