Receptionist - Henley-on-Thames

This is one of the most important roles in the Club, responsible for meeting and greeting all guests. Receptionist are responsible for making reservations over the phone and in person for accommodation and members functions, as well as fielding all calls that come into the main switchboard plus general Reception duties.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Take bedroom reservations and enter them in the booking system
  • Manage check in and out for bedroom guests, ensuring all bills are correct and paid.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have excellent Customer Service Skills, with experience working on a busy Reception, preferably, within the hospitality industry. A good logical approach to problem solving and the ability to work well under pressure will be advantageous in this role. The candidate must be happy to work shifts, including weekends. Receptionists must have a good command of the English language, be computer literate, and well organised. The candidate should have good time management skills and the ability to multi-task, as well the ability to work using their own initiative.
