Food Services Supervisor - Conference & Banqueting - Henley-on-Thames

Full Time - Permanent | £20,000 per annum

We have a vacancy for a full time Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic Food and Beverage team.

The Role

Reporting to the Front of House Manager you will be required to maintain high levels of service in the Orangery restaurant, and to ensure the complete satisfaction of members and visitors to Phyllis Court. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Food Service areas in the Club along in line with our Customer Service values, this will include staff scheduling, training and development, preventing and handling complaints, liaising with key departments e.g. Kitchen team and rewarding your team for outstanding service.
The ideal candidates will be happy to work shifts including weekends and be located within commuting distance of the Club; or staff accommodation may be considered if required.

The Person

Ideally you will have had previous supervisory experience in a food and beverage related environment or be a strong, experienced Food Service Assistant with the potential to develop into a Supervisory role. You should have exceptional customer service skills and enjoy conversing with Members and visitors to the Club. You should be a clear communicator and be able to demonstrate great team work.

Basic Food Hygiene and basic Health and Safety Certificates are advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
