Full time Bar / Cellar person - The Canbury Arms, Kingston - NEW PUB OPENING

THE CANBURY ARMS - NEW PUBS OPENING JANUARY 2019.

Our new pub The Canbury Arms will be opening in Kingston, January 2019 and we are looking for a full-time bar and cellar person to support our management team and take specific responsibilities for the bar.

The Canbury Arms will be the eighth pub for Pearmain Pubs and we have lots of opportunities for staff. We are looking to recruit our management and chef team prior to the pub opening so they can join us and train in one of our existing pubs in readiness for the new opening. Our pubs local to the Canbury Arms include: The Crown, St Margarets, Twickenham; The Wheatsheaf, Esher; The Old Plough, Cobham

The role

As a bar and cellar person, you’ll be involved in all aspects of running the pub which is an ideal opportunity to gain greater knowledge and experience. You will be an important part of the team providing a welcoming, attentive and professional service and maintaining consistently high standards. The role is very hands-on and extremely varied and will develop your skills in food and drink service and customer service and can lead to a career in pub management.

Who are you?

You will have a genuine interest in wines, spirits and real ales and possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will have experience working in a similar high-volume quality operation and get a buzz out of working on a busy bar. Pearmain Pubs are a small group of 7 independently owned 'smart pubs' located in Surrey and Middlesex with plans to open a new site in the Kingston area early 2019. Each of our pubs has been carefully chosen and sympathetically restored, with quality interiors and beautiful gardens, casual enough to be comfortable, smart enough to feel special. Our eighth pub, The Canbury Arms in Kingston is due to open early 2019 but we are recruiting now for you to join us and train in readiness for the new opening.
