Commis Chef - Grantley Arms - Wonersh, Near Guildford
The Grantley Arms is looking for a committed Commis Chef with a real passion for cooking fresh food and with a genuine interest in developing a career as a chef.
We are a very popular food led pub and well known in the area, and as such we have a modern well-equipped kitchen and a large kitchen brigade with 8 chefs and 3 kitchen porters. We are passionate about our food and our menus change regularly.

As a Commis chef, you'll be self-motivated and eager to learn and progress. Under the guidance of the head chef, you will work across all areas of the kitchen supporting all the other chefs in a variety of duties including fresh food preparation and adhering to food safety and cleaning standards.
The Grantley Arms is steeped in history and has been an active part of Wonersh Village for nearly 500 years. The building oozes charm and character with its original wooden beams and log fireplaces. We are part of Pearmain Pubs, a small group 7 independently owned 'smart pubs' located in Surrey and Middlesex. Each of our pubs has been carefully chosen and sympathetically restored, with quality interiors and beautiful gardens, casual enough to be comfortable, smart enough to feel special.
