  • Contribute to the achievement of the overall Procurement Strategy by supporting key projects as required such as S2P, CSR, and other strategic projects across the business
  • Create value by identifying and delivering activities to drive innovation, sustainability, and the ESG agenda
  • The role will include a focus on; monitoring supply chain and contract performance, measuring compliance, designing new processes, managing reports to the wider business, developing training and project management.
  • There will be extensive working across functions and the supply chain to embed changes that deliver best practice supplier and contract management.
  • Manage teams and working groups as required.

 

  • Responsibilities:
  • o Lead the development and implementation of procurement policy and tools.
    o Develop KPIs to drive the performance of contracts and suppliers
    o Develop KPIs to measure and communicate the Procurement team’s contribution to the business
    o Develop and manage visual tools to drive compliance to contracts and understand the impact on cost within the business
    o Project manage the risk management process for the supply chain and other procurement projects as needed
    o Support the development and delivery of procurement training to the business
    o Support the development of a sustainability policy for procurement
    o Create, maintain and update procurement process documentation
    o Use document and data management skills to capture, organise and maintain the contract and supplier databases
    o Create, maintain and update internal online catalogues of supplier products and services
    o General project, process and data management


Person Specification

  • Have experience of developing processes and tools from scratch, and successfully implementing into the business
  • Have project and change management experience
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Have experience in the management of documents, data and performance measuring, ideally with knowledge of operational procurement and associated processes.
  • Be confident working in Excel and with data/document management tools
  • Have excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Have a sound knowledge of the effective management of supplier master data
  • Be familiar with procurement systems, such as S2P, spend cube, contract management etc.
  • Have excellent communication and influencing skills
