One of our Central Support Offices is based in Gosforth and is a bustling hub of Parkdean Resorts. This exciting place to work houses all the essential supporting functions for our 73 holiday parks along with our award winning Contact Centre.
This modern office has a great feel, a mix of energetic knowledgeable professionals all working as one unified team to achieve Parkdean Resorts objectives. Based near the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne, it has great transport links.
AAT Finance Apprentice
Are you ambitious? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding apprenticeship? Do you have the passion to work for a business which creates amazing memories? Parkdean Resorts have an exciting opportunity for AAT Finance Apprentices to support and develop within our finance shared service function based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Working within our finance shared services function, you will be given the opportunity to gain exposure within different teams including Inventory, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Accounts Payable & Payroll.
The successful person's key responsibilities will include:
* Providing financial, administrative and clerical services in a professional, effective and efficient manner to ensure that suppliers are paid within established time limits.
* Assisting in the preparation and reconciliation of a seasonal weekly paid payroll for up to 6,000 employees.
* Invoicing finance providers and managing receipts as well as processing central receipts.
* Reconciling receipts from central office and the holiday parks daily, including ongoing monitoring of unallocated cash receipts and credits.
* Daily Cash and Card Control account reconciliations in the Reporting system.
Thesuccessful personwill:
* Have a passion to work in a Finance role
* Have great attention to detail.
* Have strong communication skills.
* Be IT literate wtih an understanding of Excel.
