Deputy General Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer focused Deputy General Manager to join the fantastic team at our incredible Southview Holiday Park based in Skegness.

Reporting to the General manager, you will be required to assist in the daily operation of the park, and assist in the management of each department instilling and demonstrating best practice and the behaviours of the Parkdean Resorts Company Values.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Working closely with the GM to determine and implement strategies to maximize sales and to achieve agreed gross profit margins throughout all units/departments with a strong focus on holiday home sales.

* Developing and improving operating methods of the park and encourage the management and staff teams to participate in achieving, maintaining and monitoring high quality, customer-focused service, providing an experience for customers which leads to increased customer satisfaction, return visits and increased profitability of the park.

* In conjunction with the General Manager, effectively manage and lead the development of our people, ensuring full utilization of PI Reviews and where appropriate personal development plans.

* Delivering on-park training as required, ensuring delivery is consistent and engaging in-line with company procedures. To provide additional coaching and development with individuals where appropriate.

* Assist the General Manager and be accountable for the operation of all areas of the park in accordance with company standards of product, presentation and service.

The successful Person will:

* Ideally have experience of working within the Holiday Park industry or other similar industries within the travel, tourism or leisure sector.

* Have a wealth of experience in a customer service role, with proven experience of manager customer experience, queries and complaints.

* Be a strong manager with the ability to lead, develop and engage a multi-disciplined team.

* Have outstanding organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload.
