It’s an exciting time for Park Leisure. We’ve recently bought our 12th park and there are great plans for the future.

Here at Park Leisure, we’re proud of our values: Teamwork, Honesty, Excellence, Pride and Communication, and always incorporate them into everything we do. We’re, therefore, looking for people who also demonstrate these…so if you think this is you, then read on!

The park

Located on the Isle of Anglesey, Plas Coch Holiday Homes offers a picturesque location and exceptional facilities, which even includes it’s very own private slipway and mooring on the beautiful Menai Straits, for our holiday home owners to enjoy.

The job

Do you have a passion for boats and the open water? Love the great outdoors? Like to be hands on? If the answer is yes then you may be just the person we’re looking for!

A great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the team at Plas Coch, assisting with the park’s exclusive Marine Club. It’s a brand new role to the park and the very first of its kind for Park Leisure.

You’ll assist customers with the launching and recovery of boats, including towing boats to the slipway and bringing them back to the boat yard safely, refuelling and washing down after use, when required. You’ll take great pride in the boat yard itself, making certain it’s always tidy and equipment is safely stored away.

What’s great about Plas Coch is its owners only so you can really get to know our owners and start to build an excellent rapport, helping to deliver a great experience to our customers.

In this varied role, they’ll also be the opportunity for some exposure to the wider park, by assisting with the external cleaning of our holiday homes on the park, making sure they are always looking spick and span!

About you

You love to work hard and do a great job because that’s the way you are, you’re a boat enthusiast, like the water, being outside and don’t mind getting your hands wet. Working autonomously and using your own initiative come second nature to you, whilst your customer service is always second to none.

Experience

You’ll have practical experience of launching and recovering watercraft and will also have a general knowledge of the marine/boating industry. You’ll be educated to GCSE level or equivalent.

A full driving licence with a C1E entitlement to tow is essential. A level one/two RYA power boat qualification is desirable, however, not essential as training can be provided.

You will also need to be aged 21 or above, as you’ll be required to drive company vehicles.

Pay

£8.45 per hour. Benefits such as holiday and pension are also on offer.

Hours

40 hours per week, weekend working is required.
