Head of Holiday Sales - York

It’s an exciting time for Park Leisure, we’ve just bought our 12th park and there are great plans for the future.

The role

A fantastic opportunity for a commercially adept, sales focused individual, to join our team. In this exciting, newly created position, you’ll have what it takes to drive our holiday sales offering forward, taking it to the next level!

Building on our existing portfolio of holiday rentals, we want to grow this exciting avenue, making it a successful part of our business. Using your knowledge and expertise of holiday sales, as well as your strong financial acumen, to not only achieve set targets but exceed them. You’ll develop a strategy, identifying opportunities, putting systems into place, implementing plans accordingly.

Keeping an eye on the competition and trends in the market, you’ll always be one step ahead, coming up with new ideas, continuously looking at how we can enhance our current offering.

We want to be a cut above the rest when it comes to giving great service, creating memorable experiences for our customers, ensuring they return year after year. You’ll create dedicated holiday sales teams across our parks, leading from the front, providing the tools for them to excel at what they do best and thereby nurturing our future talent. 

Working with marketing, you’ll develop and deliver ideas, as well as a fabulous website, to really put us on the map.

There’s also the potential that this role could lead to a board position in the future.

The role is based at our HQ in York, however, you’ll need to be prepared to travel to our parks around the country.

Experience

Holiday sales experience at a comparative level, ideally in a similar environment; people management experience.

Excellent computer skills; marketing and social media savvy; educated to GCSE/A-level or equivalent, a higher level qualification being preferred, or proven track record and ability; full driving licence.

A basic DBS check is required in order to carry out this role.

Pay and Benefits

Salary of £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience. A bonus of £20,000, share scheme and a company car are also on offer. All the other usual benefits such as holiday and pension too.
