Park Holidays are looking for a Siting Operative to join an enthusiastic team and maintain high standards throughout St Osyth & Martello Beach Holiday Park.

St Osyth Holiday Park is located in Essex on the East coast and enjoys magnificent views over the sea towards West Mersea. It’s close to Clacton on Sea and only 20 minutes from Colchester.

With its seafront location nestled between our two sister parks Martello and Seawick, St Osyth has the perfect balance of seaside, countryside and town lifestyle so whatever you like to do outside of work, you can find it on your doorstep!

There are some fantastic plans for St Osyth, including a new swimming pool, a new complex with a 450+ seater restaurant all planned for the near future.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Tractor Driving
  • Facilitate a weekly siting sheet as provided by the Sales Team.
  • Jack, Level, Plumb and Water test every Holiday Home that is sited.
  • General Maintenance Duties such as:
  • Carry out repairs on site/in venues, chalets and caravans in line with instructions from the Maintenance Manager.
  • Carry out repairs and restructure drains/groundwork/buildings.
  • Carry out repairs to equipment in accommodation units/caravans in line with job requests and to the agreed operating standards.
  • To deliver gas bottles as and when requested by the office/General Manager.
  • Distribute deliveries from a central point to the relevant department.
  • Collection of rubbish and litter/bins, depositing it in the nearest refuse compound, including litter picking the park as and when required.
  • Provide support to other departments where applicable.
  • Complying with all Company and legal policies and procedures.
  • Assist with moving and siting of caravan and lodges.

The Candidate

The successful candidate should:

  • Have a full clean UK driving licence.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Wear Company uniform provided at all times and maintain a smart appearance.
  • Have a professional and outgoing personality.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be flexible.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience is essential.
