One Leisure manages a number of Leisure Centres across the Huntingdonshire area is looking to appoint two motivated and commercially driven General Managers to oversee their facilities, each taking responsibility for a number of sites.

One GM will oversee St Ives and Ramsey and the other be responsible for Huntingdon, St Neots and One Leisure Direct.

We are ideally looking for existing Business or General Managers with a considerable track record within leisure, sport or retail management, which will enable them to drive business performance across a robust suite of key performance indicators.

These are newly created roles with the ambition of supporting the Business and Operations Manager deliver commercial growth through revenue generation, identifying opportunities for sustainable business performance and reviewing and delivering capital investment plans to move the business forward and deliver the business growth expected across our fantastic portfolio of facilities.

The new managers will work closely with the Head of Leisure, Business and Operations Manager and Operations Manager’s at all sites to coach and mentor their front-line delivery teams utilising their annual service plans and business action plans to develop their teams to deliver excellent business results.

Candidates will need to be onsite for most of the week in order to meet the needs of the service and be flexible with their hours to cover the opening hours of the leisure centre. Some weekend working may be required but will not be a regular occurrence.

For many of our roles (and where it is possible) we are currently working remotely and anticipate in the future returning to a hybrid office model on a flexible basis. This will still include work from home and flexi-time opportunities in order to provide a good work-life balance whilst still ensuring that teams benefit from in person interaction. Candidates should therefore be within commutable distance of our offices in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire or able to attend meetings as required if further afield.
