One Leisure is seeking a self-motivated and capable individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the necessary blend of gym leadership and membership process management as well as a desire to offer the best customer service and help our members achieve their health and fitness goals.

The role is designed to assist the Impressions' Group Fitness Manager in maintaining and developing the service according to the financial aims and objectives of One Leisure and to coordinate the management of the individual fitness facilities at the centres.

Achieving the financial aims will largely come as a result of efficient management of current membership levels through monitoring retention and attrition levels and managing processes to extend the lifespan of memberships through loyalty programmes and promotions. As well as keeping our current members for longer, we are looking for you to manage and deliver a programme of on and off-site membership sales against predetermined targets, goals and objectives.

Key deliverables of the Role Include:

  • supporting the One Leisure Group Fitness Manager in maximising income potential through effective management of operational standards for fitness staff, the local promotion and marketing of fitness services and products
  • managing the retention and sales processes across sites and ensure this is delivered effectively by fitness, call centre and site staff as required. This will require management of a system so strong IT and organisational skills are essential, as well being the point of contact for existing corporate memberships and looking to develop this area further
  • advising site Duty Managers and titness teams on the daily operation of the Impressions Gym, fitness studios and to ensure the facility and equipment are maintained and presented to the highest standards. Ensuring customer satisfaction levels are high.

The post requires a minimum of a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification with associated experience.

This post is initially offered as a fixed term contract until 31 August 2023, but there is a likelihood of this being extended in the future.
