Old Thorns Manor Hotel is a luxury four-star resort in Hampshire.  With recent redevelopment and expansion, Old Thorns offers luxury accommodation, conference & function facilities, health club, beauty spa, restaurants & bars, a championship golf course.  

We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic Health Club Membership Sales Assistant to assist with membership sales, administration and promotion.   Our Health Club boasts the latest Matrix gym equipment and our wet areas include a 20m swimming pool, tropical bubble pool, sauna, steam room, ice bucket, heated loungers and foot spas. 

 Main Responsibilities:   

  • To inspire customers to join Elevation Health Club and promote Old Thorns facilities to new and existing member
  • To maintain a thorough understanding of health club facilities, events, promotions and policies and actively promote these to guests and members, taking any opportunity to up-sell or cross sell whenever possible  
  • Ensuring all enquiries are responded to promptly and in a friendly and professional manner
  • Conducting tours of the facility ensuring they are personal to the prospective members and promoting the clubs unique  selling points Signing up new members 
  • Assisting with membership lead generation and following up prospective members 
  • Assisting with maintaining prospect and member databases and the processing of all membership paperwork
  • Providing cover on the Health Club Reception as needed, ensuring members and guests receive a warm welcome to the club and that high levels of customer service are delivered at all times 

 

 Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:    

  • Proactive and driven approach 
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Smart personal presentation and friendly manner 
  • Passionate about delivering the highest standards of customer care
  • A passion for the Health & Fitness industry and well-being 
  • Sound administration and IT skills with a good standard of literacy and numeracy   

This role is 32 hours a week and is 1 year maternity cover.
