The Rothley Court Hotel is a busy function site who cater for various different function types all year round. It hosts in the region of 150 weddings a year alongside parties, meetings and wakes amongst many other things. The Hotel underwent a full refurbishment in January 2014. It has 3 function rooms of varying sizes and 30 bedrooms on site, 12 of which are in the main house and the remaining 18 are in a separate building block.The main clientele tend to be of the older generation and there are many regulars who frequent in the restaurant each week.

What we are looking for

As an Assistant Manager you will support the General Manager with all aspects of the successful management of the business. With fantastic people and social skills, you will be able to build friendly, efficient and effective relationships with your customers and staff. With previous supervision or team-leader experience, you will be committed to motivating and developing a fantastic team. You will have a real enthusiasm for hospitality and will be customer-focused and passionate about delivering excellent service. With the ability to follow and maintain procedures you will be driven to ensure strong standards across the business. Ideally, you will also have an awareness of P&L and will be able to work to achieve budgets and targets. With a proactive and positive attitude, you will be excited about career progression and will be constantly looking for ways to develop both yourself and the business.
