The opportunity

To lead and line manage a team of decontamination technicians in order to ensure the delivery of a high quality decontamination service to customers.

As our Production Team Leader you will:

• To ensure a high performing team including inducting, developing and ensuring relevant staff training, monitoring the team's work to ensure it is carried out to deadlines and the required standards, and ensuring compliance to all statutory and Nuffield policies, procedures and systems including infection prevention, health & safety, quality management systems and hygiene requirements.

• To encourage high customer service within the team ensuring all fully understand their role, and ensuring prompt responses to all requests, checking back with customers to ensure service requirements are met

• To plan, allocate and supervise the team's work, communicating clearly with team members and providing new opportunities based on an assessment of their skills.

• To monitor the productivity of each team member and so ensure that the Unit meets all production and quality targets and associated financial quotas.

The person

To succeed as a Production Team Leader you will need:

• A good standard of education with proven literacy and numeracy

• Demonstrable relevant experience working in an decontamination unit including experience in a supervisory role.

• In-depth knowledge of decontamination procedures.

• An inherent focus on customer service, self development and the development of others, sharing information and influencing others, teamwork, and understanding and improving the business.
