Front of House Manager

Up to £26,000 depending on experience
40 hours per week

We're looking for a friendly individual with an approachable personality and someone with a 'hands on' approach who can work well under pressure and thrives in a fast paced environment.

With full responsibility for the Reception area, you will promote a friendly relaxing and professional environment and ensure all members, guests and prospective members receive an exceptional first impression and efficient service when using the club.

The opportunity

• Manage and co-ordinate all training for one other receptionist to ensure all standards, rules and regulations are followed and maintained.

• Supervision of all Reception activities including all information given out, all check-ins and bookings.

• Co-ordinate and manage the Receptionist to ensure the highest standards of services to Members of the Club and their guests.

• Co-ordinate and manage Reception procedures to ensure that all fees, including guest fees are collected.

• Interact with members as soon as they enter the club to foster a feeling of being welcomed and valued.

• Ensure members are aware of all the opportunities on offer that will enhance their membership.

• Take accurate messages and ensure that they are followed up quickly.

• Computer literate to a basic level with Word and Excel packages.

• Positive communication skills

• Ability to empathise with wide range of people

• Clear and positive telephone manner.

• Examples of providing exemplary customer care.

• Confidence in own personality.

• Engaging style

• Self-starter able to work off their own initiative

Key information about the role.

• The successful candidate will also be appointed 'Duty Manager' with DM shifts allocated to an open (06:15-14:45) or closing (12:30-21:00) Monday to Friday on a weekly rotational basis.

• This is a secondment position for a fixed term period of six months
