The Opportunity


As a key part of our leadership team, our Patient Services Manager you will provide a high quality business support service, managing patient services, through effective line management of a team of support staff across several departments. This includes Reception, Medical secretaries, Medical Records, Patient services and Ward Clerks. As our Patient Services Manager you will:

  • To provide day to day support and supervision for a team of business support staff including work scheduling / rotas, recruitment, induction, performance excellence reviews, attendance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures

  • To promote and maintain training, development and the mentoring of staff.

  • To ensure work is carried out to deadlines and within agreed working practices and procedures.

  • To ensure all direct enquiries / issues and those escalated from the team are resolved in a timely manner.

The Person

  • Good organisational and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Management experience

  • Significant demonstrable experience within a similar role

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment

  • Team player

Salary - Up to £43,000 per annum

Contract - Permanent, Full-Time

Weekly hours - 37.5
