Facilities & Support Services Manager - Marlborough

Summary

Are you passionate about people, keeping them safe and supported, and have an interest in and understanding of buildings and how to keep them maintained, then this is an exciting and varied role for you? With a dual focus on facilities management and business support services, we are looking for somebody who sets and delivers excellent standards in compliance, buildings maintenance, business support and customer services. A team player who works collaboratively across the different departments of our portfolio, to ensure safe, sustainable and cost-efficient operations with a positive can-do attitude.

What it's like to work here

The Wiltshire Landscape portfolio is a portfolio of 12 special sites in our care across Wiltshire. Our main visitor site is Avebury, where this post is primarily located, but it also supports the other sites and teams across the portfolio.

Avebury is a complex, and very special place. It is a World Heritage Site covering more than 6,000 years of history. At its heart, is Europe's largest megalithic stone circle which attracts people from all over the world. There is also an on-site museum displaying archaeological finds and explaining the history of the site, a sixteenth-century manor house and a six-acre Edwardian Garden, a National Trust shop, the Circles Restaurant, plus a holiday cottage, a variety of tenanted properties, and farms set in and around the village itself. All this within a designated World Heritage Site!
