The Pilgrm is a new 73-bedroom hotel opening in Paddington’s Norfolk Square. At The Pilgrm, we are reinterpreting the traditional hotel and removing any perceived barriers between us and our guests. A great Host, is a lot like a great friend. There when you need them, always with a sympathetic ear and a great story. Everyone’s ally and ever-present with a glass and a smile.

More than meeting and greeting, this role is a core position at The Pilgrm, and the individual will act as an advocate for the brand. Driven by great conversation and with a keen understanding of what makes a great atmosphere, this individual must have stories and anecdotes. 

The Pilgrm team are searching for a true host. An individual who is up to speed on trends, customer focused and of course possesses a true passion for hospitality. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that the highest level of service is provided to all guests when being dealt with by the Guest Services team to maximise guest satisfaction
  • Connect and build rapport with guests at every possible opportunity, offering them a personalised service
  • Ensure that all guest comments, including complaints, are delegated to the relevant staff member in an effective and timely manner in order to facilitate good guest relations
  • Ensure security procedures regarding guest valuables, departmental keys and floats are strictly adhered to at all times
  • Ensure room sales are maximised by dealing with all enquiries/walk-in guests in accordance with hotel procedures
