From dawn till dusk our tireless team in Sea Containers Restaurant are boundless in their energy, passion and drive to deliver seamless dining experiences for our discerning guests. Our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and brunch on the weekend, with menus reflecting the best locally sourced produce.

Our Restaurant General Manager, Max, is looking for passionate and energetic Waiters/ Waitresses to join his vibrant and engaging team.

Experience required

  • Previous experience in a busy upscale or lifestyle hotel/ restaurant.
  • The ability to work and multitask in a fast paced and customer facing environment.
  • Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
  • Proficient in the English language (both written and spoken).
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • The availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays is required.
  • Knowledge of Micros or other similar point of sale system would be advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide a friendly, genuine and professional service at all times.
  • To prepare and check your station and tables before, during and after service.
  • To build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, guests and managers.
  • To attend regular training sessions as instructed by the management team.
  • Ensure that menu items are delivered in a timely manner and according to restaurant standards.
  • Demonstrates the ability to retain a comprehensive menu knowledge and to make recommendations to guests where necessary.
  • Take ownership of the guest experience and assist with any enquiries, requests or concerns immediately in a courteous manner.
