Alicia_MeetOurPeople

Alicia is a crew member from Trent Bridge. She decided to apply for a job at McDonald’s whilst she was sitting in one of our restaurants! She is currently studying her AS levels and likes that McDonald’s fits in around that.

 
Nathan_MeetOurPeople

Nathan is an Apprentice from Kent. He chose to work for McDonald’s as he wanted to be able to get his maths and English qualification whilst working and earning money. His confidence has really grown and he was recently recognised for his hard work by winning the regional heats of the National Apprenticeship Award.

 
Tash_MeetOurPeople

Tash is a Customer Care Assistant from Caterrick Garrison. She chose to work for McDonald’s as it fits in with her family’s lifestyle; she likes that she can fit her job around school hours and not work during the holidays.

Ash is a crew trainer, from Oxford, who applied for a job at McDonald’s to develop her management skills. She loves to inspire people to do a better job – “there’s nothing better than being able to look at someone and say I trained them”.

 
Andy_MeetOurPeople

Andy is a shift manger from Bury, St Edmunds. As a primary carer to his parents, McDonald’s provides Andy the flexibility he needs, as well as the opportunity to save for University. “People don’t realise how much you can get out of McDonald’s. You can get qualifications and learn practical skills like hospitality or even do your bit for the environment. There’s something for everyone”.

Sammy Jo discovered McDonald’s at a careers fair whilst studying for a Psychology degree. She was attracted to the fast paced environment at McDonald’s and joined us as a Trainee Manager. Her ambition is to manage a busy restaurant in the next five years.

Alex is a Business Manager in Lancaster. He has worked with us for over 12 years and loves that his job is rewarding. As well as developing his own employees, Alex has also been able to invest in his own development by completing a Foundation Degree in Business Management.
