Ostuni

Ostuni restaurant is London’s first eatery dedicated to the cuisine and wines of Puglia. Our large restaurant with outside terrace in Queens Park and our new site in Highgate Village reflect the traditional materials used to build the Trulli of Puglia. It is a region that represents what Italian food is all about; simplicity and flavour. We serve the traditional pastas of the region; Orecchiette di grano arso with cime di rapa, salted anchovy, chilli and garlic or beef featherblade braciole, meatball, cacioricotta. Puglia’s seafood specialities are also well represented on our menu, with shellfish pastas, wild sea bass and bream cooked in a salt crust, or a rich stew of octopus in clay pot with black chickpeas. As for meat, our ‘fornello pronto’ stone oven is fired up with charcoal every evening to give aroma and flavour to succulent ‘bombette’ stuffed with provolone, T-bone steaks, devilled baby chicken and more.

At Ostuni we value the importance of this authenticity and uniqueness through the Puglian dishes we recreate in our restaurants. With stone from Locorotondo adorning the walls, bar and floor one finds the rustic elegance that reminds us of the most common elements found when travelling the land of sea, sky and stone.
