General Manager for Cocktail Bar - Home Bar & Kitchen, West London

The Venue

Home Bar & Kitchen is Marylebone Leisure Group’s newest venture. Based in Ickenham, we have lovingly renovated a local pub, re-establishing itself as a warm and welcoming bar & restaurant. It has a great classic and contemporary British menu, home brewed lager and our brand of infusion cocktails, all set in a laid back atmosphere. Home Bar & Kitchen has fast established itself as a lively and fun venue with a premium offer for a young and dynamic crowd.

The Company 

The Marylebone Leisure Group is an award winning group of London bars. We are quickly expanding with 3 openings already in the pipeline, meaning lots of new opportunities for progression. Our bars specialise in a unique style of infused spirits and cocktails and we are looking for creative people with a solid and well developed bar knowledge. Experience in a busy cocktail bar is a pre-requisite.

The Role

The General Manager will be in full control of the business. We want to recruit someone that is fun, opportunistic, meticulous and resilient. As the manager, your understanding of customer service and team leadership is paramount, having a natural gift to help lead and inspire. This is a hands on role, so ideally you will already be working at a popular bar and be looking for the next step in your career. A passion for cocktails is a must. Confidence through organisation, delegation and as much competence behind the bar, as behind an Excel spreadsheet.

• Salary of up to £40,000 per annum Inc. Bonus

• Strong presence and calm manner in dealing with conflict. 
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service 
• Ideally to have a personal license though not essential.
• Reconcile and supervise stocks.
