POSITION SUMMARY
To complete a full and accurate Night Audit function, ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests during the night, and act as manager on duty for overnight shift as necessary.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Very good spoken and written English language
- First Aid and security trained
- Pro-active and reliable
- Able to work alone and within a team
Duties:
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
- Ensure that safety and security of our Hotel, our guest's and associates during the night time
- Security walks throughout the Hotel and the outside area
- Assist the night team with:
- Maintain and process period transaction data and reports, and daily revenue reporting.
- Post all late charges and all guest check corrections to guest folios in time for express checkouts.
- To understand VIP policies and liaise with Front Office Manager regarding VIP arrivals and all other special arrivals of the day, and deliver required standard on Front Desk
