Job title: Operations Manager

Location: Water Meadows Leisure Centre

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, various shift pattens between Monday to Sunday

Salary: £26,000 per annum + excellent benefits

To deliver these services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we have an opportunity as we are looking to recruit for an Operations Manager to join our team.

 

The Operations Manager’s role is to manage the facility on a day-to-day basis ensuring all activities are delivered to a high standard with safety as the priority. The role will form part of the operational Duty Management shift team and involve a high level of customer interaction as well as the deployment and supervision of the operational team through the hours of operation, to include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

 

In addition, the role will involve taking control and responding in the event of any emergency.

 

As the lead person you will inspire the Duty Management team to deliver an effective, safe, and efficient operation to ensure a high standard of service at all times. The role will involve strong leadership across the whole operations team in order to deliver key objectives.

About you

 

First and foremost, to be considered for this role, you will have previous experience of managing a large team of people, have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively motivate a team.

 

You will have excellent customer care, analytical and financial skills, have the ability to take a strategic approach to business, high personal integrity and motivation, maturity and calmness under pressure and have an open, honest, and outgoing personality.

 

Ideally, you will hold a Royal Lifesaving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification including AED and a First Aid at Work Certificate.
