Is casual dining dead? Are branded restaurants a thing of the past? Has our sector failed to react to clear signals that customers want new experiences on each outing? And how will the 2020 pandemic change consumer behaviour in the longer run? When the smoke clears, who will still be standing.  Will the sector survivors be ready to react to new attitudes and desires from the market?

If you have been asking yourself these questions and building a list of potential opportunities for our industry throughout this crisis, we want you on our team.  This is your chance to show what you can do with a strong, unique and exciting brand!

In 10 years, Mamuśka! Polish Kitchen and Bar has grown from a 50-seat cafe in the ‘back street’ of Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre, to a 6000 square foot, 250 seat industrial site in South Bank, Waterloo. We are the UK’s biggest and most well-known Polish brand and are charging ahead with our mission to introduce Polish food, fun, art, music and culture to the wider world, starting with London and expanding into Europe and North America. Our extremely loyal fan base love to share our brand experience - authentic food and drink, great times and amazing value - and they are ready to be engaged to help you grow our business.

As Sales and Marketing Manager, you will report to and work with our freshly recruited General Manager to grow our business from an amazing number of channels: Lunch, Dinner, The Terrace BBQ and Bar, The Platform Bar, Corporate Hire and Private Hire Space, Music Events such a album launches, Art and Sporting Events, Outside Catering, Tour and Leisure Groups, Home and Office Delivery and even Merchandising.

Our business hit just under £1 million revenue in 2019, was on track to hit £1.5 million in 2020 before the pandemic hit and is poised to rebound in 2021 to potentially break through the £2 million mark at a singe location. The potential for success and financial reward for members of the senior management team who make this happen, is truly outstanding.

This is a very hands-on role, and we are ready to welcome an energetic and exciting personality who will get fired-up when selling our private hire space to corporate clients and just as motivated when handing out leaflets in the street with one of the front of house service team members, to show them how it is done! We are looking for a leader who can show the front of house how to 'sell it' on their own so you don't have to do it yourself, but ultimately it will be your job to make sure all the elements of the Marketing Program are implemented.

You will have at least 3 years’ marketing experience within the restaurant sector, and have a technical skill set (including basic graphics software usage) that enables you to personally implement social media through to merchandising, with minimal outsourcing.

Please ensure you pitch yourself for the role in a way that demonstrates the energy we are seeking. We look forward to hearing from the very best innovators ready to exploit opportunities to grow this brand exponentially.

Good luck!
