Wedding and Events Coordinator - Macdonald Drumossie Hotel - Inverness, Highland 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Wedding and Events Coordinator to join our team here at the Drumossie Hotel Inverness.

You will be a strong team player and be able to lead by example to ensure your high standards filter through to the front of house team. A customer facing role means being on show- so a smart appearance is essential, as the face of the hotel a warm welcoming smile is important as you make our guests feel comfortable and relaxed.

As well as being confident and approachable, enthusiasm and energy are essential along with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and Guestline is desired but not essential. A confidence to respond to emails, phone enquiries and in person appointments day to day is important.

The position entails meeting with brides, grooms and event's organisers on a daily basis as well as communicating by phone and email to clients . You will be booking and coordinating conferences, weddings, private dinners and functions for up to 400 people. You will work with the operations team to plan and execute these functions to the highest standard. You will produce function sheets and table plans for these events and take part in weekly operations meetings.
