About a role:

Join our growing team at Macdonald Portal Hotel Golf and Spa. The bar Manager will work in a fabulous four-star hotel environment in the beautiful Cheshire countryside with a team focused on business and personal growth.
As Bar Manager, you will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of food & beverage at our exciting, fast-paced resort.

Experience

• Previous Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar venue
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Proven ability to juggle and balance multiple tasks
• Passion and drive for the industry
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Experience with beverage stock management

Tasks & responsibilities

• Bar stocktaking and ordering
• Implementing and Maintaining stock par-levels
• Looking after the day-to-day operations of the bar
• Procedures/recipe creations
• Training and management of bar staff
• Input on beverage operations and ability to have input on the wine list.
• Maintain an exceptional customer experience
• Encourage a positive work environment and exceptional communication skills

This position will include shifts working Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods, including bank holidays.

Salary

£29K to £30K per annum
