Role requirements

A Linden Hall Hotel Spa Manager is an enthusiastic and professional individual who can work on their own initiative and is a key player in our spa and lesuire team.

They are passionate about delivering the very best leisure and spa experience for our hotel guests and members. Using their outstanding experience and leadership skills they will be working closely with the front of house and management team to deliver our core standards and provide our guests with a great stay every time.

This is a senior position in our hotel; as a result additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods including bank holidays.

Linden Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa is a wonderfully dynamic property with 450 acres of manicured land for guests to enjoy at their leisure. Our primary focus is the growth of the spa to excel at what we do best.

Accountabilities

· Responsible for the overall management and performance of the Spa, ensuring high standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance

· Managing payroll cost and rota planning

· Achieve budgeted revenues and profit

· Hold regular meetings and create strong relationships with key hotel departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance

· Perform Duty Manager duties as required

· Responsible for opening/closing procedures when on duty

· Create and maintain relations with Spa guests and members through having an active presence in Spa reception and other key guest areas

· Set an example at all times in standards of professionalism, attitude and appearance as required from the team

· Carry out regular Health and Safety reviews to ensure the Spa meets legal requirements

· Responsible for the recruitment, training, development and management of the Spa team

· Utilise leadership skills and motivation to maximise employee productivity and satisfaction

· Develop an annual training plan with Spa Supervisors and ensure that all employees are trained and developed to meet the needs of the business

· Lead the planning and implementation of marketing activities within the Spa, with support from the hotel organisation

· Effectively integrate the Spa within the Hotel Marketing Strategy and ensure ongoing representation of the Spa both internally and externally

· Monitor Spa performance, linking results with sales and marketing activities

· Produce a monthly sales plan and execute special promotions to maximise daily revenue

· To manage the ordering and stock control of all products and to carry out a monthly stock check for both retail and salon stock

· Continuously seeks to endeavour and improve the departments efficient operation and knowledge of own job function
