Junior HR Administrator – Lyons Group Head Office
Location: Rhyl, North Wales
Closing date for applications: 9 December, 2018

A newly created role in a fast paced leisure business based in Rhyl. The company own and operate 10 holiday parks and three hotels and restaurants across North Wales & Cumbria with approximately 300 employees. This role will be primarily based at Head Office in Rhyl but will require occasional travel to satellite sites. The Junior HR Administrator will work alongside the existing head office support team to oversee the administration of the HR requirements of the business.

The core activities of the role include:

  • Provide day-to-day administration to drive the delivery of the business’ HR plans
  • Onboarding new starters
  • Recruitment of new roles, shortlisting and arranging interviews
  • Managing the issuing of uniform and PPE to employees
  • Overseeing sickness, conduct, maternity, paternity, grievance, disciplinary and other HR cases
  • Producing weekly HR reports for Senior Management Team
  • Responding to enquiries from colleagues on employee relations in a professional manner
  • Assisting with organising and facilitating employee well-being initiatives
  • Producing the monthly Employee Newsletter
  • Overseeing the Employee of the Month scheme
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm

Key skills & requirements:

  • At least 12 months HR experience
  • Strong technical skills with good working knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Strong listening and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data and summarise key findings
  • Flexible and adaptable
