Lyons Holiday Parks are a growing family business operating within the North Wales Coast.  We’re not like other Holiday Home Parks, our sales advisors are permanent and valued members of our family.  In response to a successful season we are currently recruiting for a sales advisor to work at our Flagship Park, Lyons Robin Hood in Rhyl. 

The Package

This position offers a good basic salary of up to £25,000 per year plus a generous commission scheme offering On Target Earnings of up to £40,000 altogether.  Due to the nature of holiday home sales our Sales Advisors are expected to work weekends and this role will include weekend work.

We run a Lyons Staff Loyalty Scheme that enables our Sales Team full access to our gyms, pools and saunas throughout the group at our Hotels and Holiday Home Parks throughout the UK.  This Loyalty Scheme also enables staff to receive discounts at many tourist attractions and local businesses in North Wales and Cumbria.

Our Sales Offices are vibrant, fun places to work in with a high energy team who are dedicated and focused in achieving sales targets month on month.  With plenty of holiday guest visitors throughout the day we are looking for a sales person who is able to build a rapport with customers and maximise the sales of new and pre-owned holiday homes to both new and existing customers.

Outline of the role

  • Greeting and meeting with customers who visit our office and developing relationships by satisfying the needs and requirements of our customers.
  • Actively self-generating sales leads and converting these into appointments.
  • Demonstrating a problem-solving attitude.
  • Being proactive in thinking of new ways to attract customers to our park and consistently finding ways to keep our customers happy.
  • Assisting the sales manager in producing quotations and developing marketing strategies to secure new business.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and being conscientious in completing all sales paperwork as required.
  • Having the ability to understand and build a sales funnel.

For this position we are looking for someone who is polite, hardworking with a desire to succeed with the ability to face challenges to name just some of the characteristics we are looking for to meet the role.  Our person specification is as follows:

  • Ambitious
  • Good communicator with a good standard of written and spoken English
  • Experience of working in a face-to-face environment
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Strategic thinker with sales theory knowledge
  • Good sales background with experience of working within the holiday home industry – preferred but not essential
