Chef De Partie - The Lyons Nant Hall Hotel, Prestatyn

The Lyons Nant Hall Hotel in Prestatyn has been newly refurbished and is a popular wedding venue providing guests with a fine dining experience. We are looking to recruit an experienced Chef-de-Partie who is comfortable in all areas of the kitchen. Our successful candidate must be able to work on their own or as part of a team, be flexible, able to work weekends and bank holidays and be used to a fast-paced busy kitchen. This is a seasonal position that is expected to become permanent for the right candidate.

 The position will involve:-

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality.
  • Helping the senior sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus.
  • Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and health and safety for yourself and your team.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.

The ideal candidate will have:-

  • Two or Three years’ proven experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team leading skills.
  • A qualification in professional cookery or similar would be a distinct advantage.
