Front Office Assistant - Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa - Chippenham

16 hrs part time (Saturday & Sundays) ​

We are looking to appoint a part time Front Office Assistant to join the Front of House team at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa. This is a part time role working 16 hours a week over 2 days which will be Saturday & Sunday.  Shifts times are allocated according to business needs and may include evenings and Public/Bank Holidays. Service charge will be paid on successful completion of one month’s service.

As a member of our Front of House team you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming calls are answered efficiently and in a professional manner. You will be required to carry out additional administration duties, including replying to reservation requests via email, in order to support the front office team as well as the hotel.

Experience and skills required to fulfil the Telephonist role:

  • Experience as a Telephonist/Receptionist would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience of computer programmes such as outlook, excel and word  – full training on our hotel software will be given
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written, is essential
  • An organised approach to work especially administration
  • The passion and drive to deliver a consistently excellent level of guest service
  • Smart appearance
  • Initiative and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Due to the beautiful location of the property it can be difficult to reach by public transport, please ensure you are able to travel to the property on a daily basis to fulfil the required shifts prior to applying.
