We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our Spa Therapist Team. You will be trusted by our members to deliver world class treatments and experiences for them and their guests. We are interested in people who are career motivated, take pride in their work, have an eye for attention to detail and dedicated to see the business succeed.  You will have a hands on approach to all duties and will be responsible for the immaculate presentation of all spa areas.  We require confident employees with flair and individuality with an outgoing & friendly personality with great customer service skills and flexibility. Naturally we are busiest at weekends, so you should be prepared to work every weekend.

EXPERIENCE /KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Essential

• A minimum qualification HNC Beauty therapy working towards HND Beauty Therapy
• Experience with all aspects of massage and beauty therapy
• A minimum 1 years’ experience in a client facing role
• Experience in delivering the highest level of customer care
• Excellent problem solving and client relation skills    

 Desirable

• Experience working in a 5 star resort or destination spa
• Proven track record in hitting sales targets
• Hot Stones
• Reflexology
• Familiar with spa booking systems
• Reception experience
• Food and beverage experience

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

 Essential

• A minimum qualification of HNC Beauty Therapy or equivalent
• Current, full driver’s license

Desirable        

• ESPA training, a minimum of ESPA Essentials training
• Hair dressing training
• Make up training
• Jessica nail training

• You like receiving feedback on your performance with a desire for continual improvement
• You are a team player with a willingly assist others with duties and tasks such as reception and cleaning.
• Must have a flexible approach to rota’s and hours as weekend work is compulsory  
• Dynamic approach to client management 
• You must be genuinely caring towards people (staff and members)
• Excellent communicator with the ability to adapt your style to suit your audience         
• Team player with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude 
• Has no desire to participate in chit chat and gossip       
• Extremely neat and presentable appearance with no visible tattoos or body piercings other than 1 pair of discrete earrings              
• You must be happy to comply with our strict company dress and appearance policy  
• Ensure an exceptional and consistent level of service is delivered to Members and guests.
• Drive the development of an innovative and evolving approach to service.
• Working closely and cooperatively with all other departments.
• Work with Spa team to ensure stock control is accurate and adhered to.  
• Able to assist in the dissension of Food and Beverage to 5 star standard whilst adhering to current licencing laws.
• Assist in spa attendant duties.

Further Information on the role

• The Spa in the Walled Garden is open from Monday to Sunday, 9am-8pm.
• Weekend work is compulsory, (please do not apply if you are unable to commit to working every weekend).
• Initial contract until October 2018 with a possibility of extension/ becoming permanent
• Please be aware that you must have a driver’s license and your own car, or, means of getting to and from the golf club without relying on public transport as transport links are not strong in this area.
• You must be able to demonstrate that you have the right to live and work in the UK.
