Retail Assistant - Golf Professional Shop, Alexandria

As an exclusive private members club, Loch Lomond Golf Club strives to provide excellence to its Members and guests.

 We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our Golf Professional Shop team as a Retail Assistant.  The Professional Shop is located within the main clubhouse itself and offers our members an excellent range of golfing apparel and hardware. 

 We require a confident employee with an outgoing and friendly personality who is willing to go over and above the expectations of our Members to provide a first- class service.  An understanding and a passion for golf would be an advantage but a passion for service and teamwork is a must. 

You will be expected to work in a fast- paced environment as part of a team as well as being able to use your own initiative and work as an individual.   We require a candidate with exceptional customer service and organisational skills who can be flexible with respect to working hours.  It is essential that the individual has the ability to work under pressure during the busy season and be able to demonstrate an excellent record in time-keeping and attendance.  You must be reliable as well as smart and presentable at all times.

Your role will require you to look after our Professional shop assisting with goods receiving, barcoding and displaying merchandise in order to attract the buyer.  Above all, the top priority will be assisting Member and Guests when they come in to the Professional Shop.  No experience is required for the position as full training will be given however it is expected that the candidate will have an eye for detail and an interest in merchandising / arranging shop displays.  The ideal candidate will be ambitious, hard-working and a good team player with a positive attitude.

Due to our location, you must be able to drive or be able to get to Loch Lomond without relying on public transport.
