The Light, Banbury brings together a diner, restaurant, bars, seven-screen cinema, 10-lane bowling alley, adventure climb arena, arcade, karaoke room, interactive darts, mini-golf and American style pool tables and much more all under one roof.
Experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager
We are looking for a talented and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to be responsible for the smooth running of all day-to-day operations of our Diner. The perfect candidate will have experience motivating and leading teams on the floor and will take every opportunity to lead by example; demonstrating what exceptional service looks like, inspiring others to do the same.
About you
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous Assistant Manager experience in a restaurant or casual dining environment
- Enthusiastic with a passion for hospitality
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Confident working with technology and software systems
- Comprehensive knowledge on Food Safety, Health and Safety and licencing laws and regulations
- Demonstrable experience of delivering exceptional guest-service.
- Good numerical skills and commercial mindset
Please Note: Flexibility is key. You must be willing to work evening shifts, weekends, bank holidays and school holiday periods.
