The Light, Banbury brings together a diner, restaurant, bars, seven-screen cinema, 10-lane bowling alley, adventure climb arena, arcade, karaoke room, interactive darts, mini-golf and American style pool tables and much more all under one roof.
Experienced Floor Supervisor
We are looking for a talented and experienced Floor Supervisor to ensure the smooth, efficient and effective running of our Diner by delegating duties, monitoring product and service quality, organising breaks, ensuring all due diligence paperwork is completed, assisting with the training of the Floor Team and supervising and motivating the team to ensure the very highest standards of service.
Our Floor Team is at the heart and soul of our Diner taking orders, delivering food and drink, and surprising and delighting our guests, ensuring they are having the best experience in our diner.
About you
As a Floor Supervisor you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a restaurant or casual dining environment is essential.
- Enthusiasm for working in the hospitality industry
- Confident in leading a team
- Good communication skills and ability to build genuine relationships with others easily
- Ability to thrive in a busy high volume, high energy environment and can manage multiple tasks and guest with ease
- Highly social, motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to details
Please Note: Flexibility is key. You must be willing to work evening shifts, weekends, bank holidays and school holiday periods.
