Starting salary:​ circa £23,000.

We are Light Cinemas, a challenger brand in UK cinema.  Our mission is to create social spaces which regenerate urban centres and bring people together to share content, street food and experiences. We want to connect, engage and inspire our customers creating relevant, authentic, inclusive offerings which make us not merely a service, but a true destination.

We are on a journey to realise our vision and we need a dynamic, forward-thinking and like-minded individual to join the business who will bring creative talent, energy and inspiration.  You will get involved in all aspects of the business, there are no limits.   

The role and some of the challenges ahead:  

  • Creating fresh and engaging online content/images for the website/mobile App.  
  • Designing artworks and illustrations for walls, interior and exterior signage, animate outside space, gift cards/membership/ loyalty schemes and product packaging
  • Producing posters/leaflets/promotional materials
  • A key player in developing our brand identity [logos/guidelines/imagery]
  • Collaborating with third parties to help with the above

The successful applicant:

You will have gained some experience whether through an internship, project or content you have developed/published.  You will need to be passionate about film, cinema and/or the street food communal  experience.  You will be part of a new, small, highly talented marketing team whose focus is to delight our customers and ensure we are clear, consistent and competitive in everything we do. The supporting brief: 

Provide a design that will incorporate our existing branding, along with imagery of where we aspire to position ourselves in the landscape of our industry. This task is by no means exclusive and you should feel free to explore further with examples of your vision of what could be. That may be the logo, in-house messaging (loyalty/programming strands), the removal or refinement of aspects of the current branding.
