Life Leisure has Apprenticeship opportunities available at Life Leisure Cheadle, Grand Central, Hazel Grove and Romiley.

With a the option to study a range of leisure-related subjects, apprentices study for a qualification over 12 months whilst also gaining first hand leisure experience working as a lifeguard. The nature of this role requires enthusiastic, responsible and hard working individuals as day to day our apprentices support Life Leisure’s centres through the following activities: delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supervising swimming sessions, delivering teaching/coaching sessions, and assisting with general day to day operations. Candidates must be able to demonstrate our preferred behaviours culture of being winners, authentic, together, caring and happy.

Qualification choices include:

• Sports Development and Coaching
• Team Leading
• Customer Service

A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential for this apprenticeship and this will be delivered by Life Leisure prior to appointment. Candidates must be strong swimmers in order to undertake this qualification.
