As Group HR Administrator you’ll be making all the difference to the business, so we want you to bring your dynamic personality to work with you every day. Working with our Group HR team you’ll be providing quality HR administrative support and assisting with the delivery of the HR strategy.

You’ll be based in Birmingham however will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid working model as you will be working with our Group HR team remotely to support as required. There will be an expectation to travel as required on an ad hoc basis, to build relationships in person or to do on-site activities. Travel may include overnight stays where required and in particular you will be required to travel to Dublin approximately every two months for a number of days at a time.

This is a great opportunity for exposure across the business, as well as meeting a lot of great people! You will gain insight to every area of HR from both our specialists and generalists at all levels, along with experience in every aspect.

This is an HR generalist role, so you’ll be involved in many different activities within the department! Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Group HR team with administration tasks such as submitting expenses, recording absences, raising Purchase Orders, arranging meetings and booking travel
  • Producing quality letters and correspondence; in particular to senior, HR and central employees
  • Maintaining HR and Senior Manager personnel files and complying with company policies and initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation at all times
  • Producing reports and PowerPoint presentations for the Group HR team
  • Recruitment and onboarding admin for senior and HR roles
  • Utilising our employee app to inform teams of relevant, engaging activities and sign-posting employees to information on company benefits
  • Updating, maintaining and auditing HR and People systems and databases to ensure they remain accurate and compliant
  • Organising and maintaining recurring administration tasks such as annual benefits communications and processing
  • Note-taking during formal meetings

  • Be self-motivated and organised with ability to prioritise and work with evolving deadlines and requirements
  • Be confident and comfortable communicating with all levels of the business and be able to build a great rapport with the team around you
  • Have awareness of the importance of confidentiality in HR and adhere to this at all times
  • Be skilled in all MS Office programmes
  • Ability to produce reports and analyse data
  • Be happy to travel by yourself including to the Republic of Ireland
  • Be hungry to learn and support our growing team!
