Here at Leonardo Hotels we have an absolutely wonderful opportunity for a Meeting & Events Sales Office Manager to manage both the meetings and events team and department.

The job –

  • Deal with  all  meeting  and  event  enquires
  • Be responsible for updating S&C with accurate and relevant information as well as producing any reports that are required in order to measure progress and opportunity
  • Review business plans, identify gaps and ensure proactive efforts to fill capacity and meet set targets
  • Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments' adherence to achieving that strategy • Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
  • Ensure the function sheets are distributed to the relevant departments in a timely manner, paying particular attention to the content detail
  • Daily conference billing
  • Manage all brochure requests, information and relevant details requested by clients
  • Attend weekly revenue and operations meetings, ensuring all relevant figures are up to date
  • Deal with  complaints  in  a  friendly  and  efficient  manner  ensuring  guest satisfaction at all
  • Be familiar  with our  sister  hotels  where  cross-selling  opportunities  exist  and  ensure leads are forwarded on and followed up
  • Being aware of potential highs and lows in the business and planning for
  • Identifying, communicating and actioning all sales
  • Complete monthly sales and statistical reports
  • Being aware of VIPs and show rounds, communicating this to the teams within the Bar, Restaurant and
