Operations Manager - Leading Family Entertainment Centre, Ipswich. Up to 20k

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to assist the Senior Management team in the day to day operations of a market leading family entertainment centre in Ipswich. The centre is fast paced, fun, energetic and a thriving leisure facility, offering young children a wide range of activities, and of course FUN.

As operations manager you will be experienced within the Leisure industry, possessing excellent customer service skills. This is a really hands on role, with duties including ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, implement strategies and processes for the centre, and support the senior management team in all areas of the centre. You will be a key holder, opening and closing the centre on a daily basis, ensuring the centre operates smoothly throughout opening hours. You will be ensuring all staff are undertaking and completing their designated jobs, whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the centre at all times.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter, motivated and energetic individual, with excellent leadership skills. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of Health and Safety, be able to work under immense pressure and meet deadlines on a daily basis. Whilst this job is great fun and the hours are flexible, you will be expected to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a shift pattern basis. You must be willing to undertake a First Aid at Work course.
