Resort General Manager - Oxfordshire

Circa £60,000, £85000-£90,000 OTE/package

 

We are looking for a General Manager to take a Premium Leisure Resort in Oxfordshire to new heights following an extensive transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spend time with your guests/members to ensure they are at the heart of everything you do.
  • Lead, coach, develop and inspire your 100+ team members to deliver an incredible customer experience.
  • Support your leadership team to enhance their kids, golf, fitness, spa, swimming, conference and banqueting, food and beverage and event offering to ensure the right products are delivered at the right time to maximise participation, aid retention and improve the bottom line.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and deliver their strategy to drive new member sales and events.
  • Full financial accountability; profit and loss, income, expenditure, debtors; helping set the budgets and business plan.
  • Ensure the property and grounds are well maintained, clean and safe at all times.

Person Specification:

  • Highly engaging, professional, ambitious and obsessed with service and operational standards.
  • Front of house approach to leadership with the ability to step up to provide strategic direction.
  • Experience in building and developing high performing teams fostering a culture of excellence.
  • At least 5-years- U.K. based experience as a Club Manager, Club Director, General Manager or Resort General Manager incorporating extensive leisure (golf, fitness, spa) facilities and food and beverage services.
  • Experience and track record in growing club membership.
  • An advocate of living an active healthy lifestyle.
  • The ability to commute daily to the Oxford area.
