£50,000 - £55,000 + significant bonus

I am looking for a General Manager to work for a leading retail store in Edinburgh.as general manager you will be accountable for delivering store goals, through alignment with the company brand and ways of working, inspirational team leadership, coaching and development, and an unswerving passion to deliver an exceptional customer experience on every visit. We are looking for a minimum of 5 years' experience in a large superstore or potentially an number 12 looking to step up into the GM position. Key attributes you will need to evidence will include:

• Ensure that every member of the team understands the vision, mission, values and objectives of the company and their own individual role in delivering against those goals
• Provide clear leadership and direction, both at an individual and team level to inspire positive team attitudes and exceptional sustained performance
• Organise, recruit and train 100+ colleagues to ensure the best use of resources to achieve successful delivery of targeted results
• Ensure the highest levels of operational standards, audits and health and safety
• The ability to meet and exceed challenging commercial targets whilst managing costs and labour in line with business needs.
• Work in partnership with the local community, business partners and charities.
