Maintenance Manager Bristol 40K

I am looking for a maintenance manager to take responsibility for the launch and ongoing maintenance for a brand new leisure destination that is opening in Bristol in the autumn of 2019.This is an exceptional opportunity which will involve working with the latest cutting edge technology with responsibility for a significant annual maintenance budget:

* To manage the installation and commissioning of the new equipment

* To carry out daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections of the site and prioritise appropriate works.
* To design and implement effective programmes for proactive and reactive maintenance.
* To conduct negotiations with contractors and suppliers to determine rates and terms of service.
* To conduct risk assessments to identify possible hazards on or around site, including storing and working with chemicals.
* To recruit, train and develop the maintenance team.
* To be available to do duty manager shifts as and when required to do so.
* To be on call and available for the duty manager or the site security team outside of normal office hours.

We are keen to talk to candidates who have extensive experience as a maintenance manager working in a large and complex leisure business. A knowledge of pool plant operations is strongly desirable.

The position will involve working a flexible shift pattern including early mornings, weekends and bank holidays.
