Chef De Partie/Senior Chef De Partie - Camden, London

Working in a busy kitchen, assisting with daily duties to help the operation of the kitchen, under the general guidance and supervision of the head chef or senior sous. You will be working alongside other chefs and your duty is to maintain preparation to the required levels and be confident in running your own section and supervising your juniors. You must have competent culinary skills and knowledge of different cooking styles and trends. You must follow health, safety and hygiene practices and regulations at all times. It would also be beneficial to understand the basic due diligence paperwork.

  • Preparing food to the standard instilled by the head chef
  • Cooking fresh and seasonal produce
  • The ability to work in a high pressured but fun environment
  • Day to day running of your section
  • Adhering to food safety & quality regulations
  • always maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Presenting food to the pass correctly and efficiently
  • Learn and understand the current seasonal menu
  • Minimalize spoilage and waste.
  • Make sure back storage areas such as dry stores and fridges are kept clean and organised
  • Cleaning schedules are up kept up to date
  • Equipment is kept clean
