Senior Shift Engineer - K West Hotel & Spa

K west Hotel & Spa, the cool 4 star deluxe hotel in Shepherds Bush is currently searching for a proactive & driven Senior Shift Engineer to join our Maintenance team.

With 220 rooms, a holistic spa, fitness club and DJ in the bar on Friday and Saturday nights our Hotel is always buzzing with energy!

The Ideal candidate for the Senior Shift Engineer role requires the following:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in building service maintenance.
• Good knowledge of electrical, mechanical systems and plumbing
• City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in relevant engineering subject
• Ability to communicate well on technical and non-technical subjects with guests and colleagues at all levels of the business
• Experience of supervising and managing teams of engineers would be an advantage
• Running and following PPM programs to ensure full compliance
• Ability to work independently or as party of a team.
• The ability to motivate staff, delegate tasks and work as part of a wider team
• Knowledge of basic accounting, financial planning and budget management skills
• The ability to develop strong working relationships with other departments.
• Basic IT skills and Organizational skills;
• Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures relevant to the role, such as contract, housing or employment law, health and safety, cleanliness practices, waste management, etc.
• Remain calm and focused under pressure
• Have the ability to manage workloads
