Assistant Leisure Club Manager

Our Leisure Club is open to both external customers and staying guests to enjoy our full leisure facilities including gym, swimming pool and a wide range of fitness classes. 

As Assistant Leisure Manager, you will assist in managing the leisure team, ensuring a professional and hygienic service is offered at all times and that Clubrunner is up to date with payments and membership records.

This position is an hands-on operational role and therefore you will be involved in full pool side and gym duties, general cleaning and housekeeping as well as proactively devising and delivering new Leisure Club campaigns, activities and member events to drive sales and support in membership retention to deliver commercial returns and meet set targets.

You will assist the Leisure Manager in driving and adhering to consistent brand standards and profit performance through effective selection of resource, coaching and developing the team and providing an excellent customer service at all times.

To succeed in this role, you will be a self-starter, who works under minimum supervision with the ability to make sound commercial and health and safety focussed decisions.  

The successful candidate will have proven and successful experience in supervising/managing a leisure club, hold relevant fitness related qualifications, including full Lifeguard and Pool Plant qualifications.
