Brigadiers, which opens in Spring 2018 in the Bloomberg Arcade, will be a contemporary Indian barbecue and beer tavern inspired by the army mess bars of India, where regiments go to eat, drink and socialise. A reception will lead guests into a myriad of rooms including a dining room, a bar stocked with over 30 different beers and enviable whisky selection, a taps room, and three private dining rooms including a ‘pot luck’ conservatory. Encouraging socialising and comradery, live sport will be shown on demand across selected rooms, while a pool table and classic card games will be offered for those who wish to play while they eat and drink.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Restaurant Manager to be part of this unique and exciting opportunity.

As Restaurant Manager, you will be a hands-on, proactive and enthusiastic leader, injecting your personality into your work and inspiring the team to deliver a warm and memorable guest experience. You will continually commit to the highest standards of service and operations, and working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the front of house team, managing financials, recruitment and team development, stock management and health and safety.

The successful Restaurant Manager will:

• Be a warm, welcoming and professional face of the business;
• Have prior experience as Restaurant or Assistant Manager within a high-quality restaurant;
• Be an enthusiastic, pro-active self-starter with entrepreneurial flair;
• Have proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team;
• Be able to maintain effective standardised systems, processes and controls;
• Have experience in or a good knowledge of cost controls and managing a P&L;
• Be passionate about and have a comprehensive knowledge of the London restaurant scene;
• Have ambition and drive to develop and progress your career within a growing restaurant group.
